If
people forsake God, will He withdraw His blessings? When
they trust and obey Him, will He bring victory? In this
book of Second Chronicles the answers to these questions
can be found. It begins with Solomon's inauguration as a
King, goes through his 40 year reign, then continues with
the Reigns of the next 20 kings of Judah spanning a 393
year period. While Solomon reigned the Temple was
constructed only to be destroyed after his death.
Second Chronicles holds a key verse for today's society in
Chapter 7:14, "If My people who are called by My name
will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and
turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin and heal their land". See First
Chronicles to learn more about the author and time of
this Old Testament Bible book.

May Your Words of Your Bible that we have placed on this

May their eyes and ears be opened to what it is that You
desire for them to know. As they read Second Chronicles,
please minister to them in a way only You know how to. May
the Words come alive in their hearts as they yield
themselves to what it is You have for them. Thank You
Heavenly Father for sending Your One and Only Son, Jesus
Christ, to die for our sins. Thank You for making a way
for us to gain salvation. May all that hear, believe so
they too may have eternal life. Praise Your Holy Name,
Lord!

Amen.
